Today's Prompt: 4.9/10.18
We will be having peer review of essays today, followed by time to work on them. You may choose your own groups of three or four people. Here is the procedure to follow:
- Share your essay with other group members using Google Docs. Set the permissions to "Commenting," not "Editing"
- Read and add comments to each others' essays. Look for clarity, correctness, and effectiveness. Compare the essay against the assignment sheet--do you know which question it is answering? How thoroughly has the essay answered it? Are the requirements for the assignment met?
- When everyone has completed the review, students may work on final drafts of their essays, which are due next class.
