Today's Prompt: Research Paper Revision

Peer Feedback Instructions

1. Get your Chromebook and arrange your desk in a circle
2. Share your research paper document with other members of your group. When you do so, allow them to comment on your essay, but not to edit it.
3. Please check for the following things:
   • A clear thesis that establishes what the argument or claim of the paper is and the reasons that will be argued in support of it
   • Five sources (minimum) listed on the Works Cited page
   • Proper MLA citations to each of the five sources--there shouldn't be sources listed in your Works Cited that don't have citations to them in the body of the paper.
   • Anything else you can comment on that you believe would be helpful to the author
4. Feel free to discuss essays with other group members, not just comment
5. You can use the rubric as a guide to making suggestions for further improvement
6. When everyone has read and commented on all of the essays, you may work individually on making any final edits
