Today's activity will involve using an online bulletin board to conduct a discussion on a current event: should congress provide funding to build a wall on the US-Mexico border? To learn more about this issue, please read the following three articles. The first article is a news piece that discusses the president's argument for building a wall, presented in a televised speech last night. Two opinion articles follow it, each one taking a different position on the issue.
